How we grade
Paid listings never affect grades. Vendors can't pay to change a grade, a field or a ranking. Commercial listings sit in a separate system that grading never reads.
What we check, per plan
- Whether your inputs and outputs are used to train models by default, and whether you or an admin can turn that off
- How long data is kept, and whether a zero-retention option exists
- Whether humans (staff or contractors) may review your content
- Contract terms: DPA, BAA, SOC 2
Rules
- Only the vendor's official pages count. Each answer stores the source URL, a short quote and the date checked.
- Anything we can't confirm is marked unknown. We never guess.
- We re-check pages on a schedule and log every change.
Grades
- A No training by default, admin controls, a DPA and an audit report (e.g. SOC 2) all confirmed
- B No training by default is confirmed, but some contract or security items aren't verified yet
- C Personal plan: training can be switched off, but the default isn't clear or there are exceptions (e.g. feedback). No business contract.
- D Training and/or human review apply under normal settings, with long retention
- F Trains with no opt-out, or the policy is missing or contradictory
- – Not graded: the key training answer couldn't be confirmed from an official page yet
