How to turn off AI training in Gemini
Gemini app (personal account)
Steps: Gemini Apps Activity → Keep Activity → off, or use Temporary chats.
Why it matters: Used for training and human review while Keep Activity is on. Reviewed chats are kept up to 3 years even after you delete them. Google warns against confidential info.

Gemini in Google Workspace
Steps: Not needed: Workspace content isn't used for training without permission. Admins can set retention in the Admin console.
Why it matters: No training outside your domain without permission and no human review. Admins set retention (3, 18 or 36 months) and can turn Gemini off. Covered by Google's Cloud DPA, and Gemini itself holds SOC 1/2/3.
